Al Barakah set up a joint venture with Candor Foods Private Ltd, Mumbai, in January 2022 to promote UAE and other date varieties. Candor Foods operates in the nuts, dry fruits, dates, and health foods space in India. The company operates out of facilities in Mumbai and services all major supermarket chains in India and co-manufactures for Health Foods Brands. The JV was set up to close a gap in the market giving India’s retail customer access to high quality premium date products.
The Dates Bar Company LLC
The Dates Bar Company is a Joint Venture formed in 2018 between Al Barakah, UAE and The Whole Company, Denmark based on a shared vision of bringing Date based snack products into every daily snacking occasion. The JV-partners have a long successful history of working with dates and a vast experience in producing, processing and market various forms of date based products for international markets.
