2,000 metric ton of CO2 emissions per year equivalent to nearly 238 million smartphones charged
Installed 3,220 solar PV panels on the 10,000-square meter building, offsetting 100 percent of the current electricity needs by producing more power during the day.

Al Barakah Dates received honorable mention for being a major contributor towards the “1 Billion Meals Endowment” campaign. This campaign is the largest sustainable food aid endowment fund in the world.

Her Excellency Mariam Almheiri, Minister of State for Food and Water Security, toured the factory. Her Excellency commended the management of the factory for their efforts in operating and expanding the factory and doubling its production of date products.
